24 weeks: Baby is the size of an ear of corn (Yum!)

How far along? 24. 5 

Total weight gain: Who knows, who cares, I feel GREAT! 

Maternity clothes? Oh yes, you like these maternity jeans? Not your moms old jeans for sure!

Stretch marks? Still looking good, moisturizing twice a day! 

Sleep: Sleep and I are frenemies, I am tired a lot but I cannot get a good nights sleep! grrrr.... i just toss and turn and feel baby kick all night (which makes me smile). I suppose it is natures way of preparing you for those long nights with a new baby. 

Best moment this week: Seeing Noah kick me from the outside of my shirt, it is very entertaining! 

Symptoms:  None, everything is perfecto! 

Miss Anything? WINE!!! I am counting down the days until I meet baby and can drink wine again!

Movement: Oh yes he is a wild man!

Food cravings: Ice cream and smoothies and Cereal, I want cereal for every meal, its so weird. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nada

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: no

Belly Button in or out? Still flat 

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Super happy ! I just love this little guy more every day! 

Looking forward to: Wednesday for my doctor appointment, no more perinatologist for me! Only seeing the regular doc and it is much quicker than waiting forever at peri. 

Time flies when you are having fun and stressing out! I cannot believe I am almost done with my second trimester! Baby Noah keeps getting bigger and stronger, I can tell because every day his kicks and punches get much more noticeable and my stomach is feeling stretched. It feels like such a blessing to have such a good pregnancy, I thank God that he has kept baby and me healthy! It is also super fun being preggo with my twin! I cannot wait until we are both BIG and can take our pics together! Just wait for that cuteness!! 

 

23 weeks: Baby is the size of a pomegranate

How far along? 23. 5 (in the picture, tomorrow I will be 24 weeks) 

Total weight gain: I think I have gained about 18 lbs now, but whatever! I feel good, look good still so GREAT! 

Maternity clothes? You betcha !

Stretch marks? No and it better stay that way! 

Sleep: Some nights are good and some suck! 

Best moment this week: brother and Michelle's wedding and seeing all my family! Also finding out my sister's babies gender! 

Symptoms:  Super grumpy sometimes and I am a full blown cry baby, other than that I feel great :) 

Miss Anything? Feeling completely sane. :p

Movement: Yes but I WANT MORE!!

Food cravings: Still wanting smoothies all day every day.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nada

Happy or Moody most of the time: Staying Positive! I am happy for sure, just stressed some days. 

Looking forward to: ummmm meeting my little honey bear in JULY! I cannot wait!!!! 

Guess who decided on a name finally?? We did! YAY! We are going to name the little guy:

               NOAH JULIO GARCIA!              

We decided on Noah because we want him to be an animal lover like Noah from the Bible, we want him to also be selfless like him and a memorable man. Noah has been on our short list of favorite names (our top 3) and we just couldn't decide until.....don't laugh..... we were watching The Notebook and realized that Noah, in the story is the kind of man that we want Noah to grow up to be, like my Grandpa. We want him to be honest, love for real and forever, be strong, hard working, thoughtful, determined and easy. This character always reminded me of him and my husband had his "moment' that he was waiting for. We chose Julio obviously for my husbands brother who passed away in Iraq and I am honored to have our son have that name. So July 17th we will all meet Noah Julio Garcia, and I can't wait!

Today we went to the perinatologist for my LAST visit with them! yaaaaay! No more co-pays for them! They said Baby G is perfect! They also said he is very active and seems very healthy and happy. He was boxing with my stomach during the ultrasound and sticking his tongue out and playing peek-a-boo, how does he know we are watching him?? He is a goof ball! I loved seeing what I was feeling because I always wonder what the heck he is up to.

My bump at 22. 6 days, will do my 23 week post after the wedding so maybe I can get a super cute pic of me! Cant wait :)

My thoughts on packing on the pounds:

These last months I have been stressing and stressing about gaining weight and I HATE feeling like that!  I have been eating whatever I want and working out but I think my body has plans of its own...plans that do not match mine. I think that it wants to have some weight on my bones...more than usual...more than I am comfortable with. I have been having  mini panic attacks and crying fits when trying to get dressed because I have been feeling like nothing fits or looks the way it use to. I had sort of an epiphany today when I realized that I look just fine! I am in shape and healthy.  As long as I am staying active, eating healthy (minus the occasional Oreo and Ice Cream) and most importantly my baby is healthy and happy than I am HAPPY! I am going to do my very best to just enjoy the next couple months and not worry whether I "look pregnant" from the back or not. My body may feel like a house on certain days but it is in fact a home right now for my very special project... the most important and special project I have ever had, and if that means gaining 30 lbs to bring my best friend into the world than I will welcome those 30lbs with a smile and then kick its butt when the baby comes out :) 

Hope I can keep up this positive attitude! 

22 Weeks : Baby is the size of a papaya!

How far along? 22.4 weeks

Total weight gain: I don't weigh myself at home but I am guessing that I am up almost 15 lbs by now. 

Maternity clothes? Always maternity pants and mixing maternity and normal tops. 

Stretch marks? No, but I am defintley stretching! 

Sleep: Its JUST OKAY! I have to pee like every other hour and I just cant get comfy...grrrr...... 

Best moment this week: Having 9 days off with my little man and hubby, baby is non-stop moving, its nuts!! 

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions after being super active and its very uncomfortable, Id rather not ever feel those. Also my boobs leaked! It was nuts! 

Miss Anything? Walking on the treadmill for more than 25 minutes without getting such a tight tummy. 

Movement: Yes he already has ADD! This boy is goofy. I <3 it

Food cravings: I want a smoothie every single day, no lie. Oreo's are my new obsession also...not cool. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing :)

21 weeks: Baby is the size of a banana!

How far along? 21 weeks ( I will be 22 weeks tomorrow) 

Total weight gain: 12lbs, trying to remind myself its all in my belly ! 

Maternity clothes? Yes and Loving it! 

Stretch marks? Nope :)

Sleep: Sleep used to be my favorite thing and now its just okay, because I have to pee every other hour and my body cannot get comfortable, what the heck?! 

Best moment this week: Seeing Baby G move from the outside, I want to eat another ice cream sandwich just to see it again, because he has not done it since! 

Symptoms: Nothing bad to say! 

Miss Anything? Shaving my legs like a normal person

Movement: All the time 

Food cravings: Strawberry and mango anything 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing :)

Labor Signs: no

Belly Button in or out? Still flat and funny 

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Combo, I feel like a freaking nut sometimes and the next second normal. I am very HAPPY all the time, just a little nutty sometimes, my poor hubby! 

Looking forward to: Shopping for crib and bedding tomorrow and setting up baby room, I might just cry because I am so excited to make it look like Baby G's future home in there. 

I am always surprised how fast time is going by with this pregnancy. We will have our little guy in our home in 4 months, it is hard to believe! 

When we get the room situated I will take pics for everyone to see, I am thinking its gonna be the cutest thing EVER :) 

I want to do this with spice racks and kiddie books, I think this is so clever ! 

Baby G, you couldn't be any cuter!

My little Baby G, 

You really could not be any cuter! Last night I felt you kick me so hard that I saw your little baby foot from the OUTSIDE, which made my life! It was uncomfortable but more than that it was AwEsOmE! It made me LOVE you even more than I already do, if that is even possible! I thought I knew what a mothers love felt like with my little brothers and sisters (and with my 5 dogs <3) But NoW I really know!

You are a funny little man... super hyper in the day when I am at work and then when I get home you are calm, daddy has only felt you move twice now because you are so calm at home! WAKE UP so daddy believes me how much you kick! :) Over spring break its your time to shine for him! He will be super excited to see your baby foot kick from the outside! 

I am antsy to decide on a name for you but your dad wants to wait, he thinks we will keep changing our mind before you come. We are tossing around the names Dean, Elliot, Aiden and Brandon. I am secretly calling you Dean and Aiden to see which you like better until your dad can agree with me! Your middle name has to be Julio after your uncle who passed away that we would have loved to have in your life. You are LUCKY to share that name and your dad is very happy about it and so am I! 

 You make my day and every day to come, I am 21 weeks now..almost 22 weeks and I am counting down until the day I can squeeze your chubby cheeks and kiss your fat belly! I LOVE LOVE LOVE you already baby!

20 weeks: Baby is the size of a cantaloupe!

How far along? 20 weeks

Total weight gain: 10lbs 

Maternity clothes? I am wearing mostly maternity, gonna have to go all the way soon!

Stretch marks? Still no! 

Sleep: Sleep is good, not great, I have CRAZY dreams and my hips hurt. I am happy though cause this baby is getting BIG!

Best moment this week: Feeling baby move all around, its like he is playing DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!

Symptoms: my hips have been hurting and its beginning to get uncomfortable to sit normally. 

Miss Anything? STaying up past 10pm. 

Movement: Lots, especially when at work, I don't think he likes how I talk ALL day long! 

Food cravings: Just loving fruit! 

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing :)

Gender: Big baby boy

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy to feel my little baby moving all the time. 

Looking forward to: My doctor appointment on Wednesday and SPRING BREAK! 

This weekend I have had so much fun with my girls in Jacksonville and seeing Joey and Michelley in their new house! It was gorgeous! Cant wait until the wedding, I will be 6 months, I cant believe it! Time flies when your busy! I cant wait for Spring Break, I get 9 days off of work and I plan to do a lot of couch sitting with my puppies and my hubby. I also want to get a new car and get a tan! Wish me luck!
